PSLNest is nesting software for CNC cutting on Windows. You import DXF files, set quantities and the sheets you have, and the program calculates the layout. You can still adjust the result by hand. A finished job produces production files and a job report, and a usable offcut at the edge of a sheet can be saved and reused later.

Kerf width, tool margin, material and thickness are taken into account. The calculation always tells you what it did and what could not be placed.

How it works

    Import parts

    Bring in your parts as DXF files and set a quantity for each.

    Set your sheets

    Enter the sheet sizes and counts you have, with material and thickness.

    PSLNest lays out the parts and reports what it placed and what did not fit.

    Adjust by hand if needed, then export production files and the job report.

    Parts come in as DXF files, each with its own quantity.

    One job can use several sheet sizes and several sheets of each.

Fine-tune the result by hand

Manual adjustment

Move and rotate parts by hand after the calculation. Parts snap to sheet and part corners, move in 1 mm steps and rotate by 90°, 5° or 1°. A selection moves and rotates as one group, with undo and redo. Placements that overlap or leave the sheet are flagged, never silently accepted.

Offcut cut lines

Draw a cut line of straight segments, in whatever shape you need, to separate the unused part of a sheet, and save it for later as a new sheet. Parts too close to the line, allowing for tool width, are highlighted.
